Overview

Funding for NSW Community Preschools to support minor construction and specialised equipment or furniture that enables children with disability and additional needs to participate in educational programs on the same basis as their peers. The program aims to increase inclusive capacity in early childhood education and support equitable outcomes for children with high learning support needs.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicant must be a community preschool receiving funding under NSW Start Strong for Community Preschools or Mobile Preschool Funding Program. Children must be at least 3 years old (or turn 3 after 31 July with exceptional circumstances) and have constant and ongoing support needs or temporary illness/injury requiring adjustments to participate in the educational program.
