Overview

This program brings leading Australian research institutions together with Chinese partners to conduct collaborative research in priority areas including food and agribusiness, digital technology, energy and resources, and advanced materials. Grants support virtual joint research centres that aim to achieve economic, environmental and social benefits for both Australia and China.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be an Australian organisation with an ABN (company, incorporated not-for-profit, PFRO, CRC, or other incorporated entity) conducting research with a Chinese partner who has submitted a corresponding application to China's Ministry of Science and Technology. A maximum of two applications per applicant is allowed, with only one per priority area.
