Blood Borne Viruses (BBV) and Sexually Transmissible Infections (STI) Research Program
Overview
This grant program is delivered, in part, through the collection of data, ongoing surveillance, and pertinent research and evaluation activities related to the BBV and STI outlined in the National BBV and STI Strategies, namely: National Hepatitis B Strategy National Hepatitis C Strategy National STI Strategy National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander BBV and STI Strategy National HIV Strategy. The Department’s First National BBV and STI Research Strategy 2021-2025 and its future iterations (the National BBV and STI Research Strategy), sets out the aims and objectives for the multi-disciplinary research activities undertaken within Australia and supports the implementation of the related National BBV and STI Strategies.
