Carbon Capture Use and Storage Development Fund
Overview
Provides grants to businesses and government agencies for pilot projects or pre-commercial projects aimed at reducing emissions through carbon capture, use and storage (CCUS) technologies. Supports projects in energy generation, natural gas or hydrogen production, and heavy industries, with the goal of achieving cost-effective CO2 compression, transport and storage.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) and be an incorporated trading or financial corporation, foreign corporation, incorporated trustee, or Australian State/Territory Government agency. Applicants must provide board or CEO approval and evidence of funding capacity for project costs not covered by the grant.
