Overview

Provides competitive grants to eligible entities for research projects in science fields with national impact that support community participation. Funds projects that engage the public as citizen scientists in scientifically valid research while building skills and scientific literacy across Australia.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible entities must have an ABN and be an incorporated Australian entity, publicly funded research organisation, incorporated not-for-profit, or local government agency. Applicants must provide board support evidence and demonstrate capacity to fund 15% of eligible project expenditure plus any ineligible costs. Individuals and non-research Commonwealth/state agencies are not eligible.
