Overview

Disaster Assist provides assistance and support to businesses and individuals affected by natural disasters in Australia. Assistance is provided through the jointly funded Commonwealth-Territory Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA). Support includes one-off recovery payments and short-term income replacement payments for those affected by disasters.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must make a claim within the claiming period and be located in an area that has been named as eligible for assistance. Businesses and individuals affected by natural disasters in Australia are eligible.
