Overview

This program provides funding to secure mass participation events which will deliver strong levels of interstate visitation and substantial economic and social benefits for Tasmania during the shoulder and winter months. Events must be held between March and November in 2025, 2026, or 2027.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be registered for tax purposes with an active ABN as of 30 June 2024, hold $20 million public liability insurance, apply at least 4 months before the event, contribute at least 60% of overall event income budget, and have the event supported by Events Tasmania.

The Visions of Australia Program provides funding to support the development and touring of quality exhibitions around Australia by Australian arts and cultural organisations. REEF: Tourism Operator Support Grants

This grant program offers up to $480,000 to eligible tourism businesses operating on the Great Barrier Reef to help them prepare for the 'Kids for the Reef' school excursion rebate program. Grants cover up to 50% of the cost of necessary upgrades, checks, or clearances for reef tourism operators to accommodate school groups.
