Overview
Financial assistance for primary producers in disaster-affected areas to cover transport freight costs associated with livestock emergency response and recovery. Eligible expenses include moving emergency fodder, stock removal, building replacement, fencing repairs, and machinery/equipment costs. Provides 50% reimbursement of emergency freight costs up to $5,000.
Eligibility Requirements
Primary producers based in disaster-affected Local Government Areas in the NT, specifically those impacted by Central Australia and Barkly Region Severe Weather and Floods (February 2026), Daly River Flood (February 2026), or Severe Tropical Cyclone Fina (November 2025). Applicants must be in one of the specified LGAs.
