Overview
A $305 million grant program to help high-emitting manufacturing and mining facilities in NSW develop and implement decarbonisation projects. The program funds projects from feasibility studies through to commissioning, focusing on scope 1 emissions reduction opportunities using proven low-emissions technologies and infrastructure.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be manufacturing or mining facilities in NSW that have emitted more than 90,000 tCO2-e per year in any year since the 2018-19 financial year. Applicants must contribute at least 50% of eligible project costs. Pre-deployment projects require strategic scope 1 emissions reduction focus; deployment projects must be technically ready and commercially proven.
