Overview

This grant provides $190 million over four years (2022-23 to 2025-26) to support Community Sector Organisations (CSOs) already receiving Indigenous Advancement Strategy funding. The funding addresses wage pressures and inflation impacts on eligible organisations delivering community services. Funding amounts are based on existing IAS agreement duration, a percentage of current IAS funding, and service delivery location, with higher supplementation for remote and very remote areas.

Eligibility Requirements

Organisations must be not-for-profit, affected by Fair Work Commission minimum wage decisions and/or higher inflation, currently delivering an eligible IAS-funded activity that was active on 31 October 2022, and directly linked to community service delivery. No application required; NIAA will identify eligible organisations.

Disaster Recovery Payment for New Zealand non-protected Special Category (subclass 444) visa holders

The objective of the grant is to provide payments to New Zealand non-protected Special Category (subclass 444) visa holders who have been adversely affected by a major disaster, consistent with the Australian Government Disaster Recovery Payment (AGDRP).
