Overview

The Major and Local Community Infrastructure Program is a closed non-competitive program. Only projects identified by the Australian Government will be invited to apply for funding. The purpose of the program is to deliver vital community and sporting infrastructure, open space improvements and other community priorities. The objectives of the program are to: build resilient communities through the provision of social and community facilities; improve community amenity, accessibility and liveability through investment in community infrastructure; and drive economic growth in communities and the broader region. The intended outcomes of the program are to: improve the social and economic viability of local communities; improve social amenity and support social cohesion; and increase positive health, accessibility and wellbeing outcomes. Eligibility: To be eligible you must be the organisation with overall responsibility to deliver the project and be invited by the Australian Government.

Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program - Phase 4

Funding under Phase 4 of the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program is available from 1 July 2023 to support Eligible Funding Recipients to deliver priority local road and community infrastructure projects across Australia. Australia Cook Islands Community Grant Program (ACCGP) – Round 2

The ACCGP Round 2 provides small grants to support local organisations and individuals in addressing local priorities including education, gender equality, disability, economic empowerment and grassroots sporting organisations in the Cook Islands. Funding is provided via small grants of approximately AUD 5,000 to AUD 15,000 each.

Agency Collaborates – Community Initiated

This grant funds proposals that address identified needs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, developed in collaboration with the target community or group. It provides a funding avenue for community-identified needs where no other current funding is available. Applicants must first discuss their proposal with their local NIAA Regional Office before being invited to submit an application.
