Maker Projects – Community STEM Engagement grants 2024
Overview
Grants to foster inquiry-based learning and develop STEM skills in students and youth under 18 years through hands-on maker projects in design, engineering and programming. The program encourages practical skills, creativity and entrepreneurial thinking while ensuring accessibility for underrepresented groups including First Nations peoples, women and girls, and youth in regional and remote areas.
Eligibility Requirements
Organisations that deliver maker projects to students and youth under 18 years of age at the time of application. Particular focus on underrepresented groups including young women and girls, First Nations peoples, youth in regional/rural/remote locations, youth with culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, people with disability, and people from educationally disadvantaged backgrounds.
