Overview

This grant supports projects that integrate Australian businesses into domestic and international value chains for resources technology and critical minerals processing. It provides co-funding up to 50% of eligible project expenditure to encourage linkages between local and international firms, facilitate adoption of product standards, and enable knowledge sharing.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must have an Australian Business Number, be non-tax-exempt, be registered for GST, and be incorporated in Australia. Projects must align with National Manufacturing Priorities and have minimum eligible expenditure of $2 million. Applicants must demonstrate board support and ability to fund costs not covered by the grant.

Hydrogen Headstart Round 2

The Hydrogen Headstart program provides long-term revenue support to underwrite large-scale renewable hydrogen production projects in Australia. Funding is provided in the form of Headstart Production Credits (HPC), offering support per unit of production over a 10-year period of operations. The program aims to accelerate development of Australia's renewable hydrogen industry, support domestic decarbonisation, and help Australia connect to new global hydrogen supply chains.
