NSW Sustainable Communities Program Economic Development and Infrastructure Round
Overview
A $70 million program that funds critical infrastructure and enabling works in exposed and vulnerable NSW southern Basin communities to support economic growth and workforce participation. Projects must unlock industrial development, support economic activity across multiple users or industries, or enable population growth in regional areas.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible applicants include NSW local councils, regional organisations, universities, incorporated companies, trusts, associations, cooperatives, charities, and Aboriginal organisations. Applicants must hold an ABN, demonstrate financial viability, maintain $20 million public liability insurance, have project delivery experience, and provide evidence of co-contribution. Projects must be located in specified southern Basin communities and completed by 31 May 2029.
