Overview

This grant funds safety and security infrastructure to deter crime against small and family businesses in Queensland. Eligible businesses that have been directly impacted by crime or operate in crime-affected areas can receive between $5,000 and $20,000 to implement crime prevention measures such as physical security upgrades, surveillance systems, and perimeter defences.

Eligibility Requirements

Businesses must have fewer than 20 employees, turnover of $10 million or less, be directly impacted by crime in the past 5 years or operate within 250 metres of crime-affected premises, have an active ABN, minimum 1 year trading history, be GST registered, have Queensland headquarters, and not be insolvent. Co-contribution of at least 50% of total project costs is required.
