Overview

Grants to eligible First Nations organisations to deliver English literacy, language and numeracy (LLND) skills training to First Nations people across Australia. Training is to be co-designed with the community/communities in which it will be delivered. Delivery Grants typically range from $350,000 to $1,000,000 per year over 2-3 years for single sites, or up to $3,000,000 per year for multiple sites.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible organisations must be Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), First Nations registered training organisations (RTOs), First Nations Adult and Community Education (ACE) providers, First Nations Community Organisations, or peak bodies applying on behalf of eligible members. Applicants must have legal capacity to enter into a grant agreement with the Commonwealth and be affiliated with or partnering with the community/communities they serve.

Community Child Care Fund Round 5

Australia Cook Islands Community Grant Program (ACCGP) – Round 2

The ACCGP Round 2 provides small grants to support local organisations and individuals in addressing local priorities including education, gender equality, disability, economic empowerment and grassroots sporting organisations in the Cook Islands. Funding is provided via small grants of approximately AUD 5,000 to AUD 15,000 each.

Building the GP Workforce - Primary Care Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs)

The purpose of this grant opportunity is to allocate new commencing medical Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) and associated medical education and training activities which foster a positive primary care culture and influence the uptake of primary care among graduates to bolster the GP workforce, particularly in rural and underserved metropolitan areas. This grant opportunity will be implemented through two streams: Stream A and Stream B. Eligible applicants can apply for one or both streams. Streams A and B will have different application opening and closing dates. The government has announced its intention to ensure all First Nations students will receive a medical CSP when they are accepted into eligible medical schools from 2026. Implementation of this measure is subject to the passage of legislation and will be taken into account in implementation of Stream A and B of this grant opportunity.
