Overview

The Sustainable Aviation Fuel Funding Initiative provides up to $30 million to support the development of a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) industry in Australia using renewable feedstocks. This initiative targets the aviation sector, identified as a hard-to-abate industry, to unlock market opportunities from Australia's bioenergy sector through advanced biofuels production.

Eligibility Requirements

Proposals are assessed against merit criteria on an individual basis rather than through a competitive process. Applicants must submit an Expression of Interest with a project plan (20-30 pages) and financial model through the ARENANet Portal.
