Overview

This grant supports Australian higher education providers to create additional postgraduate psychology places in courses leading to general registration and areas of practice endorsement. Round 3 provides funding in 2025-26 to build capacity within higher education institutions and grow the postgraduate qualified psychology workforce to alleviate pressure in the mental health system.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be Australian higher education providers registered with TEQSA, approved to offer Commonwealth Supported Places and postgraduate psychology courses leading to general registration and practice endorsement areas. Must have an ABN, be registered for GST, and hold an account with an Australian financial institution.

Blood Borne Viruses (BBV) and Sexually Transmissible Infections (STI) Research Program

This grant program is delivered, in part, through the collection of data, ongoing surveillance, and pertinent research and evaluation activities related to the BBV and STI outlined in the National BBV and STI Strategies, namely: National Hepatitis B Strategy National Hepatitis C Strategy National STI Strategy National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander BBV and STI Strategy National HIV Strategy. Closing the Gap Outcomes and Evidence Fund – Logan Service Delivery Agreement

A program inviting First Nations people, organisations and communities to co-design, trial and evaluate projects aimed at contributing to Closing the Gap Targets 12 (out-of-home care) and 13 (family violence).
