Overview

This program provides researchers with funds to support taxonomy and systematics research, and build Australia's taxonomic capacity through research training. It commits over $2 million annually across multiple research streams including postdoctoral fellowships, research grants, and scholarship support for PhD, Masters, and Honours students.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be an appropriate Australian host institution (with ABN) submitting on behalf of a Principal Investigator or scholarship student, or an individual applying for a Non-Salaried Researcher Grant. Eligible entities include incorporated Australian entities, PFROs, government agencies, cooperatives, partnerships, and individuals aged 18+. Most streams require at least 50% co-funding.
