Overview
The Aviation Attraction Fund was created to accelerate NSW's recovery by building aviation capacity through securing airline routes to drive significant economic and social benefits. The fund supported domestic and international airlines servicing NSW or planning to service the state across three streams: Sydney international routes, regional NSW routes, and contestable opportunities.
Eligibility Requirements
Eligible applicants included domestic and international airlines servicing NSW or planning to service the state. Stream 1 required joint funding from Sydney Airport; Stream 2 required joint funding from a regional NSW airport; Stream 3 required airlines to match funding (cash or value in kind) either directly or through trade partners.
