Overview

A strategic aviation initiative designed to stimulate international and interstate aviation capacity into NSW by attracting new routes and increasing seat capacity. The fund supports route establishment or expansion through passenger subsidies and cooperative inbound marketing activities for up to two years, driving visitor economy growth and regional dispersal.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be NSW Airports seeking new or expanded incremental services. Routes must serve NSW priority markets (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, UK, Germany, France, USA, New Zealand, Canada, Vietnam, or Interstate). New routes require minimum 3 weekly services, and additional capacity must commence before 30 June 2027. Applicants must match funding requested with cash.
