Overview

Awards recognizing Australian teachers for excellence in teaching science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) in primary and secondary schools. Winners receive $250,000 in prize money, a medallion, lapel pin, and award certificate.

Eligibility Requirements

Nominees must be Australian citizens or permanent residents, registered full-time or part-time teachers at Australian primary or secondary schools, actively teaching STEM subjects at time of nomination, and not self-nominated. Nominations must be proposed by someone with knowledge of achievements and endorsed by two supporters, with either the nominator or one supporter being the Principal or Head of School.

Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) First Nations – Delivery Grant Opportunity - Round 3

Grants to eligible First Nations organisations to deliver English literacy, language and numeracy (LLND) skills training to First Nations people across Australia. Training is to be co-designed with the community/communities in which it will be delivered. Delivery Grants typically range from $350,000 to $1,000,000 per year over 2-3 years for single sites, or up to $3,000,000 per year for multiple sites.
