Overview

Provides regional airports and aerodromes with funding to enhance aviation safety, accessibility, and climate resilience. Supports critical air infrastructure improvements including safety enhancements, essential goods and services delivery, regional connectivity, emergency services operations, and transition to net zero aviation technology.

Eligibility Requirements

Owners and operators of airports or aerodromes in regional areas of Australia are eligible. Grants cover up to 50% of eligible project costs, or up to one-third if applicant and third party (government or non-government) both contribute.

DRIVEN Charger Rebate Stream

Through the DRIVEN Program, the Australian Government will provide $60 million to fund the purchase and installation of EV charging units at automotive dealerships and EV repairers across Australia.
