Regional and Remote Airport Security Awareness Program
Overview
This program provides funding to support eligible regional and remote airports meet the requirements of the Screener Accreditation Scheme. It aims to reduce the cost burden of airport security and support compliance with the Aviation Transport Security Act 2004 through funding for education, training, and testing for screening officers.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be an eligible regional or remote airport as identified by The Department of Home Affairs and formally authorised by that airport. Applications must include paid invoices demonstrating proof of delivery and payment for eligible activities between 1 July and 30 May in the financial year of application.
