Overview

The Regional Sports Infrastructure Fund provides grants between $1 million and $10 million to develop new and upgrade existing regional sporting facilities in NSW. The fund aims to increase the number and quality of regional sports infrastructure, improve participation and performance in sport at all levels, and establish regional sport hubs that serve as community focal points.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible applicants include local government authorities, NSW state sporting organisations, incorporated not-for-profit sporting clubs and associations, educational organisations in conjunction with local councils, and private enterprises. Projects must be located on Crown reserve land, public authority land, land held for public purposes, Aboriginal Land Council land, or private land that benefits community sporting interests, and require a minimum 25% financial co-contribution unless financial hardship is demonstrated.
