NSW Rugby World Cup Legacy Grant Program

Overview

A grant program to support rugby union infrastructure development and participation initiatives in NSW, aligned with Rugby Australia's strategy to increase inclusion and boost participation in Rugby Union for under-represented groups. The program includes two streams: Category 1 for infrastructure projects (facilities, lighting, amenities) and Category 2 for participation programs and competitions.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible applicants for Category 1 (Infrastructure) are incorporated not-for-profit rugby union clubs, associations, zones in NSW affiliated with NSWRU/ACT&SNSWRU, and Local Government Authorities. Category 2 (Participation) eligible applicants are incorporated not-for-profit rugby union clubs, associations, zones in NSW affiliated with NSWRU/ACT&SNSWRU. Applicants must not be listed on the National Redress Scheme exclusion list or Royal Commission list.
