Overview

This scheme supports tourism product and experience development in regional Tasmania outside the Hobart CBD. It encourages dispersal, year-round visitation, authenticity, sustainability and accessibility in line with the 2030 Visitor Economy Strategy. The interest rate is highly concessional for the first three years, with a commercial rate applying for the remainder of the loan term of up to two years.

Screen Tasmania provides equity investments and recoupable and non-recoupable grants for development and production of Tasmanian screen projects including drama, documentaries, animation, features, long-form and short-form series, and video games.
