Safer Communities Fund – Round 6 – Early Intervention Grants
Overview
This grant funds organisations with demonstrated experience providing early intervention activities to youth aged 12-24 at high risk of engaging in criminal activity or anti-social behaviour. Projects must include youth engagement activities aimed at crime prevention and help marginalised youth develop life skills including educational and vocational training to prevent criminal justice system involvement and build community resilience.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be an incorporated association or incorporated not-for-profit organisation with an ABN, have demonstrated experience engaging youth at high risk in their community, and not be currently funded under Round 5 of the Safer Communities Fund. Individuals, unincorporated associations, government agencies, and trusts are not eligible.
