Overview

This grant provides funding to organisations to inform young Australians about pathways and career opportunities within the defence industry and encourage engagement in STEM. Projects facilitate understanding of the defence industry, provide career experiences, mentoring and networking opportunities, and encourage student participation in STEM activities. The program runs over two years from 2024-25 to 2025-26 with all projects to be completed by 31 March 2026.

Eligibility Requirements

Eligible applicants include companies, not-for-profit organisations, and Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Corporations. Projects can have national reach or target specific defence industry hubs such as Hunter and Cairns regions.

Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) First Nations – Delivery Grant Opportunity - Round 3

Grants to eligible First Nations organisations to deliver English literacy, language and numeracy (LLND) skills training to First Nations people across Australia. Training is to be co-designed with the community/communities in which it will be delivered. Delivery Grants typically range from $350,000 to $1,000,000 per year over 2-3 years for single sites, or up to $3,000,000 per year for multiple sites.

Australia Cook Islands Community Grant Program (ACCGP) – Round 2

The ACCGP Round 2 provides small grants to support local organisations and individuals in addressing local priorities including education, gender equality, disability, economic empowerment and grassroots sporting organisations in the Cook Islands. Funding is provided via small grants of approximately AUD 5,000 to AUD 15,000 each.
