Overview

This grant provides funding to faith-based places at risk of crime and violence motivated by religious or racial intolerance. It supports the installation or upgrade of security infrastructure and/or the engagement of security guards at religious schools, pre-schools, places of worship, and faith-based community centres.

Eligible applicants must be faith-based places (religious schools, pre-schools, places of worship, or faith-based community centres) facing security risks associated with religious and/or racial intolerance. Applicants must provide supporting information confirming that the crime and violence is religiously or racially motivated.

Afghanistan Inquiry Legal Assistance Scheme

The Afghanistan Inquiry Legal Assistance Scheme funds the reasonable costs of legal representation for current and former serving Australian Defence Force members who are the subject of, or participating in, criminal investigations and prosecutions relating to matters arising from the Afghanistan Inquiry.
