2025 Childhood Mental Health Research Grant Opportunity (GO7968)
Overview
This MRFF grant supports large-scale implementation research projects that bring evidence-based preventions and treatments for children's mental health into practice through partnerships with local health and community service providers. Projects must be co-produced with children, families, carers, and communities, support integration of mental health services, build clinical research workforce capacity, and measure intervention impact. Three funding topics are available targeting First Nations-led research, organizations across all Modified Monash Model areas, or those in regional, rural, and remote areas.
Eligibility Requirements
Projects must conduct large-scale implementation research in partnership with local health and community service providers, be co-produced/co-designed with children and families, and address community-identified mental health priorities. Topic A requires First Nations researchers leading research with meaningful First Nations community involvement. Topic C requires the organization, Chief Investigator A, 50%+ of Chief Investigators, and research participants to be based in regional, rural, or remote areas (MM2-7).
