Overview
A grant program designed to secure mass participation events that deliver strong interstate visitation and substantial economic and social benefits for Tasmania during shoulder and winter months. The fund supports events aligned with the Tasmanian Government Events Strategy 2023-2027 pillars of economic, social, and brand development, with increased funding available for regionally held events.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must apply at least four months (16 weeks) prior to event commencement, hold events between March and November in 2025, 2026, or 2027, and contribute at least 60% of the overall event income budget. Applications are assessed on visitor attraction to Tasmania, length of stay, approach to encourage extended visitation, and return on investment.
