Overview

Supports Australian participation and collaboration in leading international collaborative research through the e-ASIA Joint Research Program on a multilateral basis. The program funds up to 4 grants for the Australian component of successful projects addressing Infectious Diseases and Immunology (including Antimicrobial Resistance) in the Health Research stream, with funding for up to 3 years.

Eligibility Requirements

Minimum of 3 collaborating partners from supporting member organisations required. Collaborations must include a Principal Investigator from at least one of: Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, or Vietnam. Applications specific to each participating member organisation must be completed by the Chief Investigator in their respective country.

Blood Borne Viruses (BBV) and Sexually Transmissible Infections (STI) Research Program

This grant program is delivered, in part, through the collection of data, ongoing surveillance, and pertinent research and evaluation activities related to the BBV and STI outlined in the National BBV and STI Strategies, namely: National Hepatitis B Strategy National Hepatitis C Strategy National STI Strategy National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander BBV and STI Strategy National HIV Strategy. Closing the Gap Outcomes and Evidence Fund – Logan Service Delivery Agreement

A program inviting First Nations people, organisations and communities to co-design, trial and evaluate projects aimed at contributing to Closing the Gap Targets 12 (out-of-home care) and 13 (family violence).
