Overview

A Tasmanian Government initiative providing low interest loans to farm businesses, young farmers, and agri-food businesses. Loans range from $100,000 to $3 million and support projects that advance the Agrivision 2050 plan to increase the value of agriculture and agri-food sectors in Tasmania.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be Tasmanian farm businesses, young farmers, or agri-food businesses operating as sole traders, trusts, partnerships, or private companies with an ABN and GST registration. Farm businesses must have at least one member who is a farmer deriving at least 50% of income from the farm. Young farmers must generally be no more than 45 years old with suitable farming experience.

Agristarter Loans
