Overview

The Biomedical Translation Fund provides capital to support groundbreaking innovation in Australia, helping commercialize research from universities and research organizations into commercial products. The fund addresses the 'Valley of Death' by providing a pool of $500 million ($250 million from the federal government and $250 million from private investors) to help innovative biomedical companies scale and achieve commercial success.

Eligibility Requirements

Companies must be commercializing biomedical innovation from Australian research organizations and universities. Support is provided through venture capital managers like OneVentures to help take innovations from research stage through to clinical/commercial product stage.
