Overview

This grant funds cancer research focused on early-onset cancers, aiming to enhance understanding and develop novel clinical approaches for earlier diagnosis and innovative models of care. The initiative supports programs that leverage multidisciplinary collaborative activities and link to research infrastructure initiatives to inform policy and large-scale research on early-onset cancer causes, pathogenesis, diagnosis, management and survivorship.

Eligibility Requirements

Proposals must demonstrate translational potential and build capacity in the cancer research workforce, including opportunities for early to mid-career researchers. Applications may focus on single or multiple tumour sub-types, with preference for cancers with greater disease burden.

Blood Borne Viruses (BBV) and Sexually Transmissible Infections (STI) Research Program

This grant program is delivered, in part, through the collection of data, ongoing surveillance, and pertinent research and evaluation activities related to the BBV and STI outlined in the National BBV and STI Strategies, namely: National Hepatitis B Strategy National Hepatitis C Strategy National STI Strategy National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander BBV and STI Strategy National HIV Strategy. Closing the Gap Outcomes and Evidence Fund – Logan Service Delivery Agreement

A program inviting First Nations people, organisations and communities to co-design, trial and evaluate projects aimed at contributing to Closing the Gap Targets 12 (out-of-home care) and 13 (family violence).
