Overview

The CRE scheme provides support for teams of researchers to pursue collaborative research and develop capacity in basic science research, clinical research, health services research, and public health research. The scheme aims to improve health outcomes and promote translation of research outcomes into policy and/or practice, while supporting capacity building activities in the health and medical research workforce.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be part of research teams pursuing collaborative research. Applications are accepted across four streams: Basic Science Research, Clinical Research, Health Services Research, and Public Health Research. Applicants must describe proposed distribution and governance arrangements for CRE funding and how it will complement already secured funding, data and resources.

Blood Borne Viruses (BBV) and Sexually Transmissible Infections (STI) Research Program

Closing the Gap Outcomes and Evidence Fund – Logan Service Delivery Agreement

A program inviting First Nations people, organisations and communities to co-design, trial and evaluate projects aimed at contributing to Closing the Gap Targets 12 (out-of-home care) and 13 (family violence). The Fund supports trial projects with evaluation to improve the evidence base for the Australian Government and First Nations people, with projects running until 30 June 2026.
