Overview

Grants of up to $10,000 available to eligible organisers of competitions, championships and sporting events that bring more than 100 competitors and supporters to Tasmania for three nights or more. Funding supports events that promote pre- and post-championship travel within the state as part of their event marketing.

Eligibility Requirements

Events must attract more than 100 people from outside Tasmania, require attendees to stay three nights or more in paid commercial accommodation (hotel, motel, B&B, cabin), and promote pre- and post-championship travel as part of their event marketing. Grant amounts are determined by the number of interstate and international visitors and the timing and location of the event in Tasmania.
