Overview

Provides financial support to categorised Paralympic athletes whose Disability Support Pension (DSP) payments have been affected due to travelling outside Australia for training and/or competitions exceeding the general 28-day travel allowance in a financial year. The ASC commits $97,000 annually to support eligible athletes.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must have been categorised by their National Sporting Organisation within the ASC National Athlete Categorisation Framework during 2024/25, have had their DSP payments affected by international travel exceeding 28 days for training or competitions in preparation for Paralympic Games, and have such travel sanctioned by their NSO/D.
