Overview
Provides practicing professional artists with access to creative studios and living spaces in central Sydney at below market rent. Two categories: Category A (work spaces — studios for creative projects and arts practice), Category B (live and work spaces — residential properties in inner city at below-market rates). Tenancies are offered through expression of interest as properties become available. Supports artists to continue to live and work in Sydney for up to 2 years.
Eligibility Requirements
Open to practicing professional artists working in a creative field within or significantly benefiting the City of Sydney LGA. Priority given to: artists continuing to live and work in Sydney, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists, and artists from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Applications accepted via expression of interest as properties become available. In-kind support (below-market rent) rather than cash grant.
