Event Partnership Program 2027
Overview
The Event Partnership Program supports free and accessible events held within the City of Melbourne municipality through cash and/or in-kind sponsorship. Events receive partnership benefits equal to the sponsorship value, which may include brand exposure, marketing, digital advertising, activations, signage, tickets, and hospitality. In return, sponsored events must deliver measurable partnership benefits to the City of Melbourne.
Eligibility Requirements
Events must be free to attend or have significant free programming with minimum 5,000 attendees, occur within City of Melbourne municipality between 1-31 December 2027, be self-funded at minimum 30%, have $20 million public liability insurance, and be presented by a legal entity with ABN (not individuals or sole traders). Events cannot be industry/business events, PR opportunities, teaching programs, or receive funding from other City of Melbourne programs.
