Farm Drought Support Grants VIC
Overview
This program provides funding to Victorian primary production businesses to implement on-farm infrastructure improvements and undertake essential business activities that improve drought management and preparedness. Eligible activities include constructing or upgrading stock containment areas, reticulated water systems, irrigation systems, grain and fodder storage, internal re-fencing, feed systems, pasture/crop restoration, and water carting for livestock.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must own, share or lease a primary production business in Victoria with an ABN held since 30 September 2024, devote part of their labour to the business, and derive more than 50% of gross income from the farm business in an average year or generate more than $75,000 gross income annually. Primary production businesses in eligible south-west Victoria LGAs are eligible for up to $10,000; all other Victorian locations are eligible for up to $5,000.
