Forestry Industry Supply Chain Support Program NSW
Overview
This program provides financial support to businesses impacted by the moratorium on timber harvesting in the Great Koala National Park (GKNP) in NSW. Eligible businesses can use grants to cover costs including price differences when sourcing timber from new suppliers and freight costs associated with sourcing alternative hardwood or by-products.
Eligibility Requirements
Businesses must have had a contract for timber supply from a sawmill affected by the moratorium, have hardwood or by-products from an affected sawmill as the majority of their business inputs, be able to source alternatives from a new supplier, and have an active Australian Business Number (ABN).
