Overview

This program provides financial support to businesses impacted by the moratorium on timber harvesting in the Great Koala National Park (GKNP) in NSW. Grants can cover the incremental cost difference between previous and new timber suppliers, as well as freight costs associated with sourcing timber or alternatives from new suppliers.

Eligibility Requirements

Businesses must have had a contract for timber supply from a sawmill affected by the moratorium, have hardwood or by-products as the majority of their business inputs, be able to source alternatives from a new supplier, and have an active Australian Business Number (ABN).
