Regional Australia’s Renewables

Regional Australia's Renewables (RAR) is a closed grant program that funded renewable energy solutions in regional and remote Australia through two streams: the Industry Program (I-RAR) which supported hybrid and integrated renewable systems in off-grid and fringe-of-grid communities, and the Community and Regional Renewable Energy (CARRE) Program which demonstrated the viability of renewable energy systems for small communities and islands. The program contributed to knowledge sharing and skills development while showcasing commercial viability of renewable technologies.
