King Island Subdivision Scheme
Overview
A Tasmanian Government initiative supporting the delivery of new land to market on King Island by helping developers cover the costs of subdivision development. Rebates of up to $25,000 per lot are available to help cover labour, materials, freight, road infrastructure and utility connections, with a maximum of 12 lots per developer.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must be owners of land on King Island within the King Island Council Local Government Area, zoned residential. Developments must have valid planning permits, and applicants must have already incurred and paid at least $5,000 of eligible costs per lot at time of application. Claimed lots must be brought to market within 18 months of grant agreement signing.
