Overview

The Music Development Office provides funding for South Australian artists and music businesses to attend national and international music conferences and showcase events. Includes the Export Contribution Fund ($3,000 non-competitive for official invitations to showcase at international events including SXSW, The Great Escape, Reeperbahn, Americanafest) and National Contribution Fund for Bigsound, SXSW Sydney and regional delegate bursaries.

Eligibility Requirements

Export Contribution Fund: Open to SA artists officially invited to showcase at selected international events — no application required, Sounds Australia contacts eligible artists. National Contribution Fund: Open to SA artists selected to showcase at Bigsound or SXSW Sydney, or regional/remote artists attending the Regional and Remote Music Summit.
