Overview

This grant supports medical research and medical innovation projects focused on cardiovascular disease and stroke prevention, clinical trials for novel devices and therapeutic approaches, and recovery trajectories in cardiovascular disease and stroke. Four streams are available: developing preventive health interventions for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, conducting Phase 1 and Phase 2 clinical trials, conducting large-scale multiomics projects, and developing novel therapeutics, risk prediction markers, and tailored preventive care approaches.

The 2026 NHMRC-European Partnership for Brain Health (EP BrainHealth) Grant Opportunity supports Australian participation and collaboration in transnational research projects through European Partnership for Brain Health (EP BrainHealth) Call for Proposals.
