Overview

This grant opportunity supports medical research and medical innovation projects focused on implementation research to improve quality of life for Australians as they age. Stream 1 funds research addressing inequalities in uptake of prevention activities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, rural/regional/remote populations, and culturally and linguistically diverse populations. Stream 2 funds research to understand barriers and enablers to adoption of high-quality care for older Australians across different care settings and population groups.

Eligibility Requirements

Projects must conduct implementation research focused on either addressing inequalities in prevention activities uptake (Stream 1) or understanding barriers and enablers to high-quality aged care adoption (Stream 2). Research must address specific health needs and be conducted by MRFF Eligible Organisations.

Closing the Gap Outcomes and Evidence Fund – Logan Service Delivery Agreement
