Overview

This grant opportunity supports medical research and medical innovation projects across three streams: Stream 1 (Incubator) for early-stage research led by early career researchers, Stream 2 (Accelerator) for large-scale interdisciplinary programs led by mid-career researchers, and Stream 3 (Targeted Call for Research) for translating research into policy and practice. The grants aim to improve health and wellbeing of Australians by supporting researchers to develop innovative solutions and transform health practice for Priority Populations.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must be early to mid-career researchers. Stream 1 is for early career researchers conducting early-stage, small-scale research. Stream 2 is for mid-career researchers establishing large-scale interdisciplinary programs. Stream 3 is for early to mid-career researchers with co-funding partners. Research must address critical or intractable health issues in Priority Populations.
