Overview

This grant supports medical research and medical innovation projects in two streams: Stream 1 focuses on developing and implementing pharmacogenomic approaches to identify new medicines and enhance medication efficacy across cancer therapies, antimicrobials, and other infectious or chronic diseases; Stream 2 conducts genomics research to optimise diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of high-priority diseases among Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Eligibility Requirements

Applications must be submitted through MRFF Eligible Organisations and Administering Institutions. Research must align with either Stream 1 (pharmacogenomics for precision medicine) or Stream 2 (genomics research for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health priorities).

Closing the Gap Outcomes and Evidence Fund – Logan Service Delivery Agreement
